日本生まれ。桐朋学園短期大学声楽科卒業後、英国王立音楽院で研鑽を積む。2005年から4年連続で東京・サントリーホールでのソロ公演が高い評価を受け、世界各国の音楽会へ招かれる。

2017年、シンガポールのクラシック名所エスプラネードで本格的なアジアデビューを果たし、在シンガポール韓国大使館主催の建国記念式典では両国の国歌を独唱。同年、エヴァ・ロンゴリアとビクトリア・ベッカムが主催する「Global Gift Gala London」でスティーブ・エドワーズ、トキオ・マイヤーズらと共演。

さらにドバイ国際映画祭ではグラミー主要3部門ノミネートのルイス・フォンシ、ヴァネッサ・ウィリアムスとも共演。2019年にはハンガリーの人気クラシックコンペ番組「Virtuosos」にプラシド・ドミンゴ、ピアニストのラン・ランと共に審査員として出演し、「バチカン国際音楽祭2019」ではサン・ピエトロ大聖堂の教皇代理ミサに招かれ、「アヴェ・マリア」を独唱で献呈した。

英国アビー・ロード・スタジオ録音の1stアルバム「Venere」（2015）、2ndアルバム「L'umile ancella」（2016）、サントリーホール10周年記念ソロリサイタルの実況を収録したライブBD「Seia Lee L'umile Ancella dal Vivo」（2016）をリリース。

일본 출생. 도호가쿠엔 단기대학 성악과를 졸업한 뒤, 영국 왕립음악원에서 수학하였다. 2005년부터 4년 연속으로 도쿄 산토리홀에서 열린 솔로 공연이 호평을 받으며, 세계 각국의 음악회에 초청되었다.

2017년에는 싱가포르의 클래식 명소 에스플러네이드(Esplanade)에서 본격적인 아시아 데뷔를 이루었고, 주싱가포르 한국대사관이 주최한 건국기념식에서는 양국 국가(國歌)를 독창하였다.

같은 해, 에바 롱고리아와 빅토리아 베컴이 주최한 「Global Gift Gala London」에서 스티브 에드워즈, 토키오 마이어스 등과 함께 무대에 섰다. 또한 두바이 국제영화제에서는 그래미상 주요 3개 부문에 노미네이트된 루이스 폰시와 바네사 윌리엄스와도 협연하였다.

2019년에는 헝가리의 인기 클래식 경연 TV 프로그램 「Virtuosos」에 플라시도 도밍고, 피아니스트 랑랑과 함께 심사위원으로 출연했으며, 「바티칸 국제음악제 2019」에서는 바티칸 성 베드로 대성당에서 교황 대리 미사에 초청되어 '아베 마리아'를 독창으로 헌정하였다.

영국 애비로드 스튜디오에서 녹음한 1집 앨범 Venere (2015), 2집 앨범 L'umile ancella (2016), 그리고 산토리홀 10주년 기념 솔로 리사이틀 실황을 담은 라이브 블루레이 Seia Lee L'umile Ancella dal Vivo (2016)을 발매하였다.

Born in Japan, Seia Lee graduated from the Vocal Arts Department of Toho Gakuen College of Music and then pursued further studies at the Royal Academy of Music in the UK. From 2005, her four consecutive annual solo performances at Suntory Hall in Tokyo were met with critical acclaim, leading to invitations from music venues around the world.

In 2017, she made a significant Asian debut at the Esplanade in Singapore, and during a national day celebration hosted by the Korean Embassy in Singapore, she performed the national anthems of both countries. That same year, she appeared alongside Steve Edwards and Tokio Myers at the Global Gift Gala London, an event organised by Eva Longoria and Victoria Beckham.

Additionally, at the Dubai International Film Festival, she performed with Grammy-nominated artist Luis Fonsi and Vanessa Williams. In 2019, she served as a judge on the popular Hungarian classical competition TV show "Virtuosos" alongside Plácido Domingo and pianist Lang Lang. She was also invited to perform a solo of "Ave Maria" at a papal representative mass at St. Peter's Basilica during the Vatican International Music Festival 2019.

She released her first album "Venere" in 2015, recorded at Abbey Road Studios in the UK, her second album "L'umile ancella" in 2016, and a live BD "Seia Lee L'umile Ancella dal Vivo" capturing her 10th anniversary solo recital at Suntory Hall, also released in 2016.
